Student Development Academy (SDA) was registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on the 11th of November, 2015. On the 22nd on December same year the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) registered the school with Tax Identification Number (TIN) 19428074-0001. While on the 18th of January, 2016, the Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA) of the Lagos State Ministry of Education in a letter with reference number MED/OEQA/PSRD/NS: 5/00000236, gave approval to the name.
